Tariffs and Fees
- Billing Service Charge: Recurring monthly for the administration of customer services, billing and collections.
- Consumption Charge: Cooling service consumption is measured through the cooling service meter. The first and last meter readings appear on your invoice and are multiplied by the usage rate to determine the charge.
- Capacity Charge: This is a fixed charge that is determined by the size of your premises.

Which documents are required to register with Tasleem?
Setting up a new account with Tasleem is both simple and convenient – just visit www.tasleem.ae and register online with the following:
- Copy of your passport or Emirates ID
- Copy of the Sales Purchase Agreement
- Security deposit based on the number of bedrooms plus a registration fee
- A premium will be applied for reconnection after working hours (5:00 pm Mon-Fri) or during weekends and holidays (see tariff page)
If you have leased your unit, please note that tenants can register with the following:
- Copy of your passport or Emirates ID
- Copy of the tenancy contract
- Security deposit based on the number of bedrooms

What are the required documents to register a company?
- Copy of company Trade Licence
- Copy of valid Emirates ID or passport of the authorised person
- Power of attorney
- Copy of the tenancy contract or SPA
- VAT certificate
- Security deposit and registration fees
- A premium will be applied for reconnection after working hours (5:00 pm Mon-Fri) or during weekends and holidays (see tariff page)

Will the tariff rates change?
Tasleem will apply the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to its tariff and rates and will keep you informed whenever these changes become effective. The CPI is provided by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC) and published on its website: https://fcsc.gov.ae
What am I liable to pay?
Owner:

Tenant:

How can I close my account and when will I get my security deposit back?
Your security deposit will be returned to you shortly after informing us that you are vacating your premises and fulfilling the following requirements:
- Submit your ‘account closing application’ via the Tasleem website or mobile app the day you are moving out, including your UAE bank account details
- Log in to your account
- Choose ‘my account’
- Choose ‘close account’
- For Tenant we will require Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) clearance or No Objection Letter (NOC) from your Owner
- For Owner we will require the Memorandum of understanding (MOU).
- Full settlement of your payments including your final invoice
What are Cooling Services?
Your development utilises district cooling technology to deliver the air-conditioning in your home, office or commercial premises. Tasleem refers to this as ‘cooling services’.
What is the Billing Service Charge?
This is a recurring monthly fee for the administration of customer services, billing, and collections.
What are Tasleem’s Payment Methods?
Payment can be made by using Autopay, Quick Pay, Tasleem’s mobile app or online portal, Samsung Pay or Apple Pay.
How do I know what my balance is?
When registering with Tasleem, you will be receiving a monthly bill by email and you can check your balance on Tasleem’s mobile app or online portal.
Where are the Terms and Conditions located?
Our terms and conditions are available on the Customer Cooling Service Agreement (CSA), available on our website.
Can I transfer an existing Tasleem account to a new apartment?
Unfortunately, there is no option of transferring accounts – you have to close the existing account and open a new one via the Tasleem website
Efficient Cooling Tips
- Keep the air conditioning unit filters clean.
- Ensure that internal air conditioning systems are maintained and serviced regularly.
- If you are away from home, we advise to keep curtains, doors and windows closed.
- Do not place heat-producing appliances near thermostats.
- It is recommended that all toilet fans and pipes entering the residence be properly sealed.
- Set your thermostat temperature to “Auto 22″.
- For any internal air conditioning systems issues (cooling temperature, filters and pipes cleaning, actuator leak) please refer to the building maintenance.
